Walking the Walk

Two years ago, Lane returned to the stage with his servant-led band, Deeper Blues. The band quickly leveraged its exposure to mount several charity projects under the umbrella of Foodstock Charities and its charter chapter, Danville Foodstock. On tour and at home, the band promotes a message of community service as a means of fulfillment, working to feed the needy, to bring music to combat troops, and to promote music education in our schools.

Not content to merely talk the talk, as founder and executive director of the Foodstock family, Lane is putting servant-leadership to work in communities around the nation. Through Foodstock, Lane has helped thousands of others discover the deep, unequaled sense of fulfillment found in the service of others.

Lane also writes and speaks on motivation and positive living. Lane's consulting career began in the music industry, advising artists, club owners and others in market growth and client service. He continues to serve the music retail industry to this day.

From 2004-2009 he served as Special Projects Coordinator for Eden Electronics providing all dealer training and in-store clinics and promotions. He is currently the VP, Sales & Outreach for The Learning Dock, LLC, publishers of Teach Me Bass Guitar.
